What is Equals Money?

Equals Money is our new platform, which allows companies to manage their finances more effectively. We’ve used our +18 years of experience and spoken to businesses both large and small, to understand what our customers need. As well as a new platform, there are new Equals Money cards which have a different design and improved functionality.

We’ve made many enhancements in keeping with our mission: to make money movement simple.

Why is the current platform changing?

We want to be able to give you cutting-edge features to help you manage your money as well as to continue to innovate. To do this we needed a new house. The new platform also provides you with more services that are offered by the Equals Group, all with the support of the same dedicated team

New features include:

  • Virtual cards (physical cards also available1)
  • Device payments
(compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay)
  • Multi-currency cards
  • Xero integration (bank feed)
  • Instant GBP and EUR credits to your account2
  • And more...

The upgrade process

Please note: All Equals Spend cards are now closed.

How does the upgrade process work?

  • Any Company Controller can click on the upgrade option on your Spend account page, this will appear as a banner.
  • We’ll ask the Company Controller requesting the upgrade to fill out some details before confirming, these questions will only take a few minutes.
  • The Company Controller who requested the upgrade will be able to sign in to the new platform.
  • Once on the account, we recommend that they start by adding more people to the new account.
  • After team members have been added to Equals Money, order them new Equals Money cards. These will take around 5 working days to arrive.
  • You can top up cards by transferring money to their Balances. To do this, choose "Internal transfer" at the top right of the main Overview page.

Is it necessary to upgrade?

Yes, all our customers need to upgrade. You can no longer use Equals Spend cards.

‍Will our account managers and support team still be the same?

Yes. We’re actually expanding our support team to ensure that we can give you even better service, but our existing experienced team will still be just an email or a phone call away.

‍Can we upgrade to the new Equals Money platform but keep using our Spend cards?

No. Your previous Spend cards have been closed.
